Oh, I do so far! I’ve been trying not to read all of it at once because then it’ll be gone and I’ll be sad, but hehehe, it’s so awesome! It’s descriptive and all that stuff! I have been thinking very hard about who I would cast as Muzaffar Jang! I was thinking maybe, I don’t know,
Dilip maybe, since he looks good with a thin (keyword: thin) mouche, and he did play Salim, so, that’s a plus. Maybe even Rajesh too, since he actually looks seriously cute with a mouche. He does. Like in Aradhana. -melts- Anyway. I don’t know about Shammi, all the other qualities of Muzaffar like investigating and helping his friend do suit Shammi, but I don’t know how he looks with a mouche!
And uh, maybe even Dev, I dunno. I could never, ever, picture Dev in that kind of Mughal clothing though. Ne-ver. With a cool suit and tie, yes, but anything else… meh. Oh well, I’ll keep reading!
Neither Dev nor Shammi could be Muzaffar – they’re just not the type. But yes, now that I think of it, Rajesh Khanna does look good with a moochh. Also Sunil Dutt.
But since we don’t have the option of casting any of these people, I already know whom I’d want to star as Muzaffar if anybody ever gets around to making a film out of any of the Muzaffar stories. Hrithik Roshan. His role as Akbar in Jodhaa-Akbarwas Muzaffar, out and out.
I know, they just couldn’t! Rajesh, I could see him in Mughal clothes because he always wore those kurtas and stuff. -dreamy sigh- Sunil Dutt, yes, that is a possibility! But if only we could cast them in a film… -another dreamy sigh-
I was snickering and giggling so hard all throughout Jodhaa-Akbar because I kept thinking, “Have fun growing old, becoming Prithviraj Kapoor, and having a rebellious son that looks like Dilip Kumar.” I just found it so rib-tickling for some reason. And hey, yeah, Hrithik had a mouche too. Hehehehe.
